AI Zone Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the SyncBig application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use the App through the BigCommerce platform.
Information We Collect
When you install and use SyncBig, we collect and store the following information:
- BigCommerce store data: Your store hash, OAuth access token, and the OAuth scopes granted during installation (
store_v2_orders,store_v2_products,store_v2_customers). This is required to query your store's API on your behalf. - BigCommerce user data: The user ID, email address, and username of BigCommerce users who install or access the App.
- Destination credentials: OAuth tokens for connected Asana workspaces and Slack workspaces, stored securely in our database and used solely to write sync data on your behalf.
- Job configuration: The sync jobs you create, including schedule settings, selected fields, and destination configuration (e.g. Google Sheets URL, Asana project ID, Slack channel ID).
- Sync history logs: Records of each sync run, including start time, completion time, number of records synced, and any error details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely to:
- Authenticate your store and execute scheduled sync jobs on your behalf
- Write your BigCommerce data to the destinations you configure (Google Sheets, Asana, Slack)
- Display job status, sync history, and dashboard statistics within the App
- Diagnose and resolve technical errors
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Your store data (tokens, jobs, and sync logs) is retained for as long as the App is installed on your store. When you uninstall the App from BigCommerce, all associated data — including OAuth tokens, job configurations, and sync history — is permanently deleted from our systems.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted database connections (TLS), environment-variable-based secret management, and scoped OAuth tokens.
Third-Party Services
SyncBig interacts with the following third-party services on your behalf when you configure them as sync destinations:
- Google Sheets API (Google LLC)
- Asana API (Asana, Inc.)
- Slack API (Salesforce, Inc.)
Your use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
