Overview
StyleBig lives inside your BigCommerce admin. Pick a product, choose a studio tool, describe what you want, and StyleBig generates new imagery around your existing product photo — a lifestyle scene, a seasonal overlay, a model showcase, or a precise edit. Review each result and push it straight to that product's image gallery when you're happy with it. Need an asset that isn't tied to a specific product — a model reference, a backdrop, a promo graphic — use Freestyle instead, which skips product selection entirely.
The Products Page
When you open StyleBig, you land on the Products page — your BigCommerce catalogue, ready to work with. Select one or more products to bring them into a studio tool, or open the Generations page to review past results.
Studio Tools
Scene Studio
Places your product into a styled lifestyle scene. Describe the setting you want, or start from a preset, choose a quality and resolution, and generate. Best for hero images and lifestyle listing photos.
Holiday Overlay
Builds a seasonal or holiday-themed visual around your product — useful for campaign creative tied to a specific date on the calendar without booking a new shoot every season.
Model Showcase
Shows a wearable or handheld product on an AI-generated model, giving flat-lay or mannequin photos real context and a sense of scale.
Freestyle — Create Any Image
The one tool that doesn't start from a product photo. Write your own prompt, pick a preset (model turnaround, studio or lifestyle backdrop, sale poster, promo banner, and more), or click Surprise Me for a randomized variation — useful for reusable model references, background assets, or marketing graphics. Every result lands in its own history on the Freestyle page, separate from your per-product Generations.
Inpaint — Erase & Regenerate
Brush over the part of an existing photo you want removed — a stray reflection, a background object, an old logo — and StyleBig regenerates just that area to blend seamlessly with the rest of the image.
Outpaint — Expand The Canvas
Extends a photo outward past its original frame — turn a tightly-cropped square shot into a wide banner or tall hero image while keeping the original product intact.
Credits
Every generation costs credits based on the quality level you choose, the same scale across every studio tool:

Credits are drawn from your monthly plan allowance first. If you're generating several images at once and don't have enough balance for all of them, StyleBig fulfills as many as it can afford in the order you selected them, rather than failing the whole batch.
Plan & Credits Page
Every store starts on a free trial — 10 credits, no plan required, so you can try every tool before subscribing. From the Plan & Credits page you can:
- See your current plan, remaining monthly credits, and when they next renew
- Upgrade to a higher plan for more monthly credits — Basic (50 credits/mo), Pro (100 credits/mo), or Business (500 credits/mo)
- Review a full billing history of renewals, upgrades, and cancellations
- Cancel your subscription — your remaining credits stay usable until they run out, you simply stop receiving new monthly credits
Generations History
The Generations page is a running log of every image you've created — which product it's tied to, which tool generated it, and how many credits it cost. Reopen any past result to push it to your product's live image gallery, or dismiss ones you don't want to keep.
Uninstalling
To uninstall StyleBig, go to Apps in your BigCommerce control panel, find StyleBig, and click Uninstall. Your subscription is cancelled and your store data is removed from our systems — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. StyleBig always generates a new image — your original product photo is never overwritten. You choose whether to push a result into the product's image gallery.
Generation stops until your credits renew at the start of your next billing cycle, or until you upgrade to a plan with a higher monthly allowance.
Studio tools work from a product already in your catalogue. Custom uploads are supported in select tools — check the tool itself for an upload option.
Monthly plan credits reset to your plan's allowance each billing cycle and don't carry over — use what you need for that month's generations.
Not directly — cancel your current subscription first, then subscribe to the lower plan you want. Your existing credits stay usable in the meantime.
